Hi everyone, could anyone please tell me if that Damproof cream is any good and if not, which is the best way to inject a dampcourse. Thanks in advance for any replies.
People who make it, sell & install it and generally receive vast sums of money for supplying or recommending it it will all say it's the most wonderful product ever created and solves every damp problem instantly.
Everyone else knows it's a load of old tosh which costs a fortune and does nothing.
If your property has a damp problem, it is exceptionally unlikely to be due to a failed damp course (or not having one at all).
Before you spend any money on anything, you need to identify the source of the dampness and remove it.
The most common are internal condensation caused by people using the property inappropriately, faulty rainwater goods such as blocked gutters, broken downpipes, excess vegetation growing against the outer walls of the property, or the external ground level being too high.
