Hey Everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone can weigh in what would be the best finish to tidy up the transition between the interior window frame and newly plastered and painted walls.

I'm guessing the options are Silicone or Caulk, I'm just not sure which one to go for.

Thanks, as always any feedback is much appreciated.

Do not use silicone. Paint does not stick to silicone.

You don't mention if the windows are timber or uPVC. If timber, caulk will be fine. If uPVC and the gap is very small then caulk will be fine as well. If the gaps are more substantial then consider one of the MS polymers, eg CT1. MS polymers are as flexible as silicones but can be painted.
