best flange?

hi all
i am fitting a twin impeller 1.5 shower pump,to a standard gravity fed system,the pump is positioned at the base of the h/w cylinder and there is no neg head.
what is best/easiest flange to fit?,essex,surrey,warix, dazey,
do you have to fit a flange?
any recommendations.

IMHO, Essex, but you need to use the correct diameter hole saw.

Although I've never seen a dazey.

No, as long as you don't mind replacing the pump when cavitation sends it to an early grave.

Fit an Essex flange.
 
If your not fitting a flange it has to be the first draw off and at least 6 inches below the tee for the open vent

Imagine my disapointment when i saw it was not about ...well...flange
 
What do you think an Essex flange looks like John? :D
 
You could do it like this at a pinch but the riser from the cylindrr will lose heat by convection.

That Salamander flange is a Surrey. Wessex usually fit the pipes better.
