What have you guys found best for stud walls:

Ply & acoustic insulation & plasterboard?

Ply & soundbloc/soundshield boards?

Is there much price difference?

Would depend on what level of insulation you require.

It's an extension. Building Control have specified 40mm insulation with 12.5mm plasterboard.

But I wondered if Soundbloc is 'better' to use?
