for fixing oak skirting (that has been oiled and is used as upstands on oak worktop) to painted, plastered drywall...

there is a slight bend in it so it will be pushed flush while it sets so needs to be strong enough to cope with that - although there's not much force.

no more nails?

thanks

expanding glue? for fitting a skirting board? ...wont it push it away from the wall?

thanks

whilst the glue does foam and exert pressure it is less than the normal support you would give to skirting whilst the no nails goes off
i use this pu its brilliant do "not " wipe off spills unless its a delicate surface because the foamed glue is easier to remove than a thin smear
i use a lot off this stuff spend 10p more for free postage next day

as big all says,i too use this stuff a lot aswell,my 1 bit of advice is,if your using the red 5min glue either make sure all your cuts are exact beforehand or buy the 25 min version that way you have a bit of time to work with it.

too late... she gone and spent £7 on Unibond No More Nails from the sheds that sets in 10 SECONDS!!!

this is gunna be fun!

thanks
