Best integrated washer dryer?

I am moving house - I wonder if anyone could give me advice on the best washer dryer to look for? (and the best place to buy one).

try appliances where not interested in washing machines, washer dryers etc.

I'm no expert, but I've always been led to believe that all washer dryers are pretty naff and the best option is where possible to get separates.
good brands:
miele, john lewis, AEG, bosch

I've been thinking about getting one myself - Miele are supposed to be very good. Have a look at this one here.

Hellishly expensive (around £1100), but I think maybe worth it in the long run.

Miele is expensive but very good. Our Miele washing machine stopped working last week, repairing the ball bearings is too expensive. It's 19 1/2 years old. We never had any problems during that time. All my friends with different makes (cheaper) have gone through 2 or 3 machines over the years.
