Best internal finish for a single course brick porch

Hi all,

I am looking to get advice for the best interior finish for the inside of my new porch walls. They are a basic single course of bricks on all sides. I would like a smooth finish which hides the brick work but also doesnt cost me too much interior space. This is a fairly small porch, with a vented piched roof, separated from the main house by the existing front door (hence insulation factor is not of great concern). Obviously water penetration is a concern with a single brick wall so solutions should take that into account!

Why did you not have your "new" porch built in double leaf?

A number of reasons, mainly to keep cost down and to make maximum use of the available space. It's not intended as a liveable room, just extra storage.
