Work awey from the edge? or into the edge on doors etc

sanded doors one side and undercoated, the other side was done 2 yr ago, best to sand and undercoat or gloss without the undercoat?

whats a decent gloss thats not to thin, to avoid splashing on the walls

on walls is it best to paint 1 coat, undercoat woodwork, topcoat, and then top gloss coat

best way to save brushes to use next day, gloss soak in white sprits?
cheers

Paint the edge first and lay off towards it.

Undercoat..

One coat type or non drip

Depends if theres a big difference in the colour on the walls and the woodwork..in genreral id finish the walls the undercoat and gloss the woodwork.

Leave em in water..then just shake the access out and wipe over a spare bit of board/cardboard before you intend to use them.

if painting a door frame inside gloss, kitchen side, room side will need doing as well, is it best to do the lot in one go, or do the room side when that gats painted

You might as well while you have got it out..if I think ive got what you were asking correct.

Yes say, 1 door frame half in one room, half in the other

pointless glossing one side, to leave one to be sanded, and painted at a later stage
