Hi all . Wanting to refresh my kitchen cupboards by giving a new coat of paint . Not sure what wood is beneath the current coat . Any recommendations for the best paint for the job that will be durable enough etc . Also some of the cabinets next to standalone over so get a bit warm from that …

I find the V33 range dedicated for cupboard doors easy to work with. Available from BnQ and Screfix

Hi thanks for this . Have you used this product ? How’s its durability etc ? Thank you

I have used it, and I've also had to take the time to chisel it off the sink when a spillage dried unnoticed. It's got some sort of additive that you put in before painting and then you've got 10 days to use it.. Seems to dry very hard indeed

Using a chisel seems a bit extreme - di you not try to soften it up with turps first?

So it sticks well by the sound of it and resistant to chipping ?

Chip resistance is as much about getting good adhesion to the substrate, before even thinking about the quality of paint.
