Hi

I'm looking for some cornice to put into my lounge. I have knocked two rooms into one and now need a match or something similar as one of the rooms had none to start with. My house was built around 1905 so its the original. I know I'm not going to actually get a match but a modern day equivalent will do.
It comes down from the ceiling about 100mm and out from the wall about 140mm and curves inwards.
I don't really know where to look. I have seen some on the net but really want a shop.
Any ideas?

Thanks

I recently had some made by a specialist fibrous plaster co. They take a squeeze or impression of a piece of your old cornice, then make a length in their workshop, which they later screw to your ceiling.

If you can find a local workshop, and a number of houses were built in your town at about the same time, they might already have a mould.

Thanks John I will have a look around for them.

Is there anywhere else I can try for an 'off the shelf' type of cornice?

Thanks
