Best self tapping screws for attaching licence plate to car?

So I am attaching a licence plate to the car so don’t need a massive screw. What would be the best dimension self tapping screw and type to attach the plate to the car? Thanks for your help.

Use a security headed screw, will stop criminals pinching the plates from you car to clone it,

Consider using security screws which can be turned easily using a screwdriver to fit them but can’t be undone using normal tools.

I mention it as last month an aquantance got several parking fines from a town he has never been to.

Just use the adhesive pads designed for the job. No need to put screws through body work then.

Double sided foam tape. Even if the plate get broken in will stay in one piece.
