Best Shower Type (and macerator question)

I've got mains cold water pressure and a valliant combi hot water pressure, can I get away with a mixer shower and if so what sort are best.

Also are these macerators reliable, I've seen some bad reviews of them in general?

Mira excell. cant beat them. macerators are good for the purpose intended and you can pick some up quite reasonable now. I would either buy a macerator or a pot belly pig, or post dinner scraps through student halls letter box on a friday night they eat most things. .

You mean a macerator to mince up the WC material, don't you.

See if there is any way you can possibly avoid having to use one. Especially if it has to pump the muck uphill.

Sorry I did not make it clear, in fact I would like to use a mixer shower tap if possible, are there any good enough for this mains cold water and combi hot water set up?

and the macerator is for the mucky stuff!
