Hi,

I have a MIRA JUMP electric shower and about twice a year the TCO Cut switch blows and this is basically because the shower head has gotten clogged due to hard water. Unfortunately I don't live at the property all the time and the lodger fails to tell me that the shower head is clogged so each time I go through the process of replacing the TCO and the shower head. Can anyone recommend a solution that is worthwhile here, either:-

- fit an inline device at the cold water source coming into the electric shower e.g a scale inhibitor. I see various opinions on these devices....

- or maybe a shower head that you can load pellets into to soften the water. I see various models on Amazon e.g ability to load "mineral balls to remove chlorine and other contaminants in shower water". Maybe a bs product?

- another solution? I have to use an electric shower so its not option to use a boiler driven shower

thanks

Adam
