Best way to deal with skirting on wobbly wall?

This is glued on with no more nails. Was closed off and opened up here, i didn't notice the wall wasn't straight until now....

So thinking my options are:

1. Squeeze more glue in gap tomorrow and push and hold and hope it sticks. But risk pulling rest off (i or a fair amount of glue on though....)
2. Cut at angle, glue and caulk gap
3. Screw in - big hole will be needed. Going into brick.

Or something I've not thought of?

I cut it. It looks naff. Oh well
 
Can you use some packing or slither or plywood behind and fix to that caulking the top?
 
Too late now....if you could live with a couple of screwheads and that's a brick/block wall then a couple of 90 or 100 x 4 or 5 screws would pull that in.
