Best Way To Finish Threshold

Hi all,

Soon to be fitting a fire door between my garage and the utility room but wondering the best way to finish the threshold.

As you can see it's currently just concrete and the dpc, the utility room which is in the far end of the picture will be having lino fitted, the step down into the garage will just be getting painted with garage floor paint.

I was thinking about just using a decent piece of wood fixed to the floor set flush with the frame garage side but slightly recessed in utility room side so the lino runs into the door frame area.
