Hi im looking to fit a radiator in a bungalow kitchen as there is nothing there at the moment all the walls are solid so im going to put a channel in the wall from the loft to run the pipework to where the rad is gonna go the pipes are going to be plastered over then. Just wanting some advice on the best way to go about it im thinking of using 15 mm plastic pipe in the wall and then put 10mm microbore in the plastic to stop the copper corroding because i dont want any mechanical or pushfit joints in the wall and microbore will be more flexible just wondering if this is the best way to go about it or any other ideas?

Plastering pipework into walls is a callout waiting to happen, unless you protect them like electrical cabling

i was gonna use 10mm microbore but put them in 15mm plastic so the plastic would protect them

Plastic isn't must protection against a hammered nail...I've seen it done too many times

put your 10mm pipes inside copper pipes instead of plastic, and make sure you dont have any joins that you cant get to.

Table Y copper is only suitable for underground or buried pipework. It has a protective blue plastic sheaf. However this is only to protect the corroding effect of cement it wont be any good if you punch a nail through it! For extra protection you could always slide a length of copper into some MDPE pipe, you can use regular half-hard lengths of copper then, have done it before in shower areas.
