Hi, sure there must have been loads of posts about sticking kitchen laminate but thought I'd start this so I could post pictures and ask if there's a best solution for this problem specifically

Laminate is around the oven and heat has caused it to peel - a large section on one side and smaller areas on the other and above...

Obviously can't replace the bits that have gone completely.

Hopefully by this time next year we'll have a new kitchen but until then, would just like to make it look less awful :)

Many thanks

Rip them off and paint? I repaired some wardrobes veneer with wood glue. Had to hold them down well and do them in stages.

Looks like poor vinyl wrap, peel off the loose and wait to replace kitchen.

It lasted 18 years! New kitchen would be nice but until then just thought there might be a way to stick it down smoothly rather than remove bits
