It came from BG quote saying my 22mm was no good and needed to rip up all my floors and repipe from boiler to tank with 28mm. At a great cost of course

Some previous posters thought 28mm would be better but that 22mm would work.
I just need to way up the upheaval/cost of refit versus the benefit.
Thus far nothing has shown me that the upheaval is worth it.
It will work. But 28mm Will be better.
At 20 degree delta 22mm will take 27kW. At 11 degrees, it is only 15kW.
28mm is 45kW and 25kW respectively.
Perhaps the BG man is still working at 11 degrees.
