Hi,

Biasi 24s flame stopped. both for DHW and CH.

Plumber took the Diverter Value out, (a friend), and he cleaned it and changed the membranes and springs, etc.

The problem is that the shaft pin that connects the switch to fire it up is not opening and closing. If we manually connect the switch with a screw driver it works.

Any idea what to look for next. I'm not a plumber, my friend is, was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas before he calls Biasi before advice.

Thanks for all your help

These are very simple and common boilers!

I have never failed to repair one.

I would suggest that you need a proper boiler engineer who understands how boilers work!

Thanks for your input,

Spoke to the helpful people at Biasi, they said it's most likely that the Main heat exchanger is blocked and needs cleaning.

Site not responding properly ( or for a while not at all ).

Yellowfish, I strongly suggest that you DONT take that advice from Biasi.
