Unscrew the existing fitting on it (if it has one) and screw this onto it.

There is no screw thread on the tap end.

Usually just a threaded tap connector. Do you have a photo of said bib tap?
Bib tap normally looks like this...
and you unscrew this bit....
And replace with your bit.
