I used cooker/shower size mains cable to run a spur from another socket is this safe or will i have to redo it all again? Thank you
 
Surpised you managed to get cable into terminals with two 2.5mm as well. Yes it will be ok , BUT WHY? did you have spare cable? No-one in their right mind would use that much overkill by choice.

Assuming he hasn't spurred off a spur that is.
Maybe its a radial circuit, in which case he has just extended it.

The cable is coming from a 30amp junction block that used to be to a socket so what i have is 6mm cable junction block 10mm cable to socket.
