Has anyone found a cheaper alternative to the standard V shaped spikes to fit to gutters to prevent birds roosting? They're a crazy price for steel or plastic spikes fixed to a track. I'm fitting gutter guards so I wondered if weaving galvinised wire in loops into it would suffice?

You could always try bird lime
