I have a thread going in the projects page

Need a bit of advice on opening up an existing roof and fascia where new brickwork will meet it.

The brickie is here Tuesday and then sat and sunday

They need to get bricks onto this column, I have furfix etc.

The new floor heights are the problem. This colum and roof is in an area of the house that steps down and is lower than where the extension will be. So I need to get the gutter and fascia off to see it the column has enough height to meet the new brickwork. If it doesn't......... What can I do

Please tell me if it doesn't make sense.

You will need to remove the entire roof including wall plates and raise all the masonry to suit the new wall plate height and new soffit height.
