I have one of these for my electric 'chainsaw on a pole'.
I am sure at one point I found a site detailing how to take the pack apart and change the batteries but I cant find it anymore.
Mine is now basically dead and needs to be charged immediately before use otherwise it self discharges in a few days,.

Has anyone opened one of these battery packs?
£35 or so for a new pack from argos is not bad but if they are straight AA Ni-Cd batteries inside I can replace them for a fraction of that.
 
i have rebuilt battery packs but it costs over £3.00 a cell so that is a good price
