British Gas have checked our boiler and said it's fine, but we have a problem with thick black dust literally appearing in the bathroom (where the boiler is located), every 24/48 hours. It's really thick. It's not coming from the attic and seems to be worse when the heating is on. It's not making us ill -it's been like this for about 2 years, and we can't find the source of the problem. It's ruined the carpet in the landing and bedrooms near to the bathroom. I'm convinced it's something to do with the boiler, as there is nowhere else it can be coming from, and this dust is only found in the bathroom.
Could it be the copper pipework? Or something is blocked??
