Hello, I'm new here, and I apologize if this is not in the right forum thingie, I didn't see any other ones that related.

Anywho, is there anyway to get out black hair dye out of a biege carpet after it's dried? I've just dyed my hair (it's setting as I type) and a few drops have spilled on my carpet. Well it's a new carpet that my mom had put in, I tried to scrub it up before it started to set but that just made the stain worse and then I tried taking a rag soaked in cold water with whisk on it and scrubbing it up that way. I've managed to turn the black to a pale blueish tint, but it's still there.....and my mom will have kittens when she sees it.

Do you think peroxide would be a good idea to try to get it out?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi

I would contact the hair dye company, they should have a number on the packaging. They would be best to advise as they know what its made of.

Salem.
