black marks on my new paited walls from where the radiators

I get black marks, streaks on my newly painted walls ! from where the radiators are mainly. we burn candles a lot, could this be doing it ?[/b color] /size]

Eeee I remember when it used to get cold in winter. Our dad used to sit us round a candle ...................and if it got colder, he used to light it.

Made a terrible mess of the decorating.

It is amazing though, how much warmer it does get with them on, no not just that, we like them, they are nice, but may have to go by the sounds of things !
