I have recently installed an oak basin unit for the bathroom and after several weeks i have found blistering occuring
The unit was sold with a light application of Danish oil. I have read about danish oil and found that it does not blister?
The blistering feels plastic, like a removal of paint or varnish.
Has anyone had this sort of problem with danish oil?
I have contacted me manufacturer and they have assurred me that it was coated with danish oil prior to dispatch. I have also been told that I should have made a further application before installation.
I am arguing that this blistering has nothing to do with Danish oil. Am I correct?
