Hello,
Has anyone got any views on grouting a block and beam floor (mine is not having a screed, but a timber/insulated floor on top).

Different websites say to use a 1:3, 1:4 and 1:6 mix and some say dry, some say to use a wet slurry.

thanks.

Does not really matter that much, I wet the floor and bush in dry. I've seen people do a wet slurry.
Your block and beam manufacture will have supplied details follow them.

I got in touch and they said they'd recommend watering down my mortar and fill as a slurry.

It's lynx precast if you're interested.

If you water down mortar you are washing all the cement out, leaving you with wet sand
