Block Paved Driveway

I have an existing single block paved drive but would like to widen it for two cars. is thi likly to be expensive and is it possible for a diy'er to do himself with a little help?

There is a Water meter and a large elictricity inspection cover in the garden

Or would it be cheaper to pull up the existing sngle block paved drive and tarmac the whole area?

tarmac has a short life, in 5 years you'll be doing it again. I have a block paved drive, been down for about 17 years now, still every bit as good as new.
