im just thanking my lucky stars that i was able to retrieve the crap "silverline" rods an that United Utilities sorted the drain

speaking to a neighbour (who had the manhole cover) he reckons within the last 10 years of having his house, the drain has been cleaned 4 - 6 times

i think i may be getting friendly with United Utilities!!

Does anyone know what this "Warthog" was?

yeah its a root cutting head for a high pressure hose, i think the water pressure makes the head spin so cleans the drain as it travels
