How do i find out the exact model of my boiler? All it says on the outside is potterton prima profile, no reference to 30/40/50 etc. Will i be able to take advantage of the scrappage scheme bearing in mind that it is no longer working?

there is a small flap on the grey bottom panel. Unclip & lower it.

Does the boiler have a pilot light?

If its a 'B' or a 'C' yes you will.

It lights 'on demand' rather than having an always-on pilot light (i think )

I'll check for the model code later when i get home.

I dont think you will be able. Sounds like a Prima F.

Just checked and its a 50e so no scrappage bonus for me

Going to get quotes for repair (replace HE) and new boiler.....
