Hello

We are having problems with greenstar convetional 40cdi boiler. It was hitting 90 temp then cutting out and showing u codes. Enineer discovered its the ehat exchanger n the prob cant be fixed until january 5 unless we pay £900 odds... does anyone know if the system can be power flushed n if that will be effective in getting rid of the blockage. Its quite a bad blockage from the sounds of it

had mine power flushed same prob didn't work!!power flushing is very low pressure so if its stubborn it will not help

Wonder if it is still worth a shot as need system cleaned anyway dont want the same prob when the new heat exchanger is fitted in... such hassles.... wat bad timing.. 2 wees for a fix grr
