I've just finished stripping the paper in my hallway. Some of the plaster underneath is blown in various places.

Is it advisable to pull off the blown plaster and re-fill in the holes, get a plasterer to fix the job properly or is it something i can repair myself?

I don't want to have to line the walls as there are more doors than wall space and i'd like to paint it for the final finish.

Many Thanks

Hi Florrie,
With all due respect, I don't think you could fix the job yourself. It might be better to get a plasterer to come in and look at your job, and take it from there. Always ask for a quote.

Roughcaster.

ok thanks for the advice, the last thing i want is to try and do it myself and having to get in a plasterer to sort out the mess i made!

i'll try and get 3/4 quotes and go from there.
