Hi im a fairly decent plasterer but only do it in my spare time.

I plan on using fenbond blue grit On 2 glossy looking artex ceilings in my house.

Quick question ?

Do i roll the blue grit on ,leave it for 24hrs and skim over even when its dry? Or do i do the same but put a coat of normal pva over the dry blue grit and leave till its tacky ?

Ive used quite a bit of blugrit before skimming and didnt pva. I believe the idea of using it is to give the skim something to grip on to . When I was researching the product I called Tec support who said it should be left a minimun of 24hours before skimming over.
Make sure you clear up any splashes before bluegrit set , its hell to get off once it dries.
