what tubes are used to stop drug abuse.
Are they same as the blacklite tubes
thanks

i dont thinkso. i think its just blue, something to do with same colour and veins.

the black lights are UV

We turned up with colour blue ones supplied by the store, but the ones we took out looked like blacklite, so now confused.

Apparently like you say it makes it hard to see the veins.

The anti abuser lights are UV thou blacklite are used as well.

Yes the theory is it makes the vein harder to hit, however, according to my mother who works with druggies, they use so often that they have so much scar tissue and scabs that they can find the vein in the dark if they need to!!!!!

Fit a sharps bin with a glow in the dark sign instead, more effective

They are not 'black light' tubes.

They are just a standard ral blue.

They are usually fitted 50/50 with white tubes.
