Hi,
We are currently in the process of insulating our loft and would like to board over the top of it so we can use the space for storage. However, the insulation is thicker than the joists are tall. What is the best way to raise the joists? Do we just add wood to them? Do we put wood perpendicular to the joists or the same way? We don't really want to compress the insulation and lose the thickness.
Thanks!
