Boat crossings sweepstake.

Tell me the weather is calm in the channel without telling me the weather is calm in the channel
It is a damning indictment of our border control, that the only thing dictating how many boat crossings take place, is dependent on which way the wind is blowing.

The dinghy flotsam are worrying, but remember it's a sideshow compared to the huge numbers of legal migrants that traitor politicians of both colours are letting in. Because their entrance is far less spectacular than the Channel invasion people aren't even paying legal migration much attention. For instance 3.9 million alone on the Boriswave and he was only pm for a reasonably short time.

The link to the Telegraph article about the Boriswave is 'access restricted. Oh, the irony!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

803 crossed over yesterday. The biggest number in a single day in December since 2018. Go Labour!
Mottie posted this thread on Friday saying “like to guess how many arrive on this fine weather day.

The answer is 0

So that’s Motties claim that it’s just weather dependent

Just like to publish government figures for accuracy
Oh look it’s Murdochat, the chap who is a tribal Tory.

I can’t find any posts where Murdochat is unhappy about the 45,774 people who arrived in a single year during Tories in power

Obviously Murdochat was perfectly happy for them to arrive when it was the party he voted for in power

He must be a Brexer. They are too embarrassed by the failures of Brexit and the subsequent small boats arrivals, to stick their heads above the parapet, on that one.

In your head (somewhere I wouldn't like to be)... does that mean that the tories were more successful than labour in welcoming those wonderful needy people to enrich our society?
No government has “welcomed” people coming on small boats.

I guess you do not realise U.K. govt have no jurisdiction over who leaves the French coast

Mottie, you said it was entirely weather dependent.

So when zero came over a period of 28 days you said “weather”

Now when 800+ arrive suddenly it’s weather dependent.

I can see why you support Reform but zero knowledge of any of their policies

I’d dispute that. I’d say meeting a boatload of illegal immigrants in the channel, taking them aboard, ferrying them to shore then taking them to a 4 star hotel must feel very welcoming to them.

Now when 800+ arrive suddenly it’s weather dependent.
Well it was fine in Hornchurch but that not exactly the middle of the channel, is it?

Do we have more crossings in July/August compared to December/January? How about you telling us why none come on one day and 803 come the next. If it's not the weather, is it kier pulling a stern face and wagging his finger or something else?

His opinion changes depending which way the wind blows, old sock.

Over a year ago the government were blaming good weather for the number of small boat crossings.

"A 31-day period in October and November had the highest ratio of so-called “red days” – when weather conditions make crossings likely or very likely – since records began in 2018, according to a leaked analysis.
In that time, 6,288 people crossed the Channel, compared with 768 over the same period last year. The data will be used by the home secretary, Yvette Cooper, to explain why the number of crossings by small boats carrying people seeking refuge has jumped in recent weeks".

Funny how when no crossings happen in November/December this year it's nothing to do with the weather but it is because of their policies working. Unfortunately, the weather changed……

One of the reasons for Bre*it was stopping Polish plumbers coming over and stealing jobs - now we're out of the EU it's stopping foreign nationals of all colours and creed from coming over...where will it end; when everyone talks like you, walks like you?
