My boiler (Potterton Promax HE) and heating system in general has had so many problems I think I sometimes think the worst.
I have noticed some behaviour which may be perfectly normal and I just haven't noticed before but may be abnormal so though worth checking.
When the CH is on it runs fine and as normal. Boiler on and off as needed to maintain stat temp.
However when DHW is on the boiler comes on for about 5 minutes, then goes off for about 1 minute, then on for 5 and this repeats over and over. I haven't dared leave it long enough to find out if it eventually turns itself off at max temp.
Is this normal or does it sound like yet another thing has gone wrong?
