Boiler casing inner foam replacement

Hi,

Re: Worcester Bosch Greenstar 37CDi Combi Gas Boiler

I've had a slight issue with my boiler and the inner foam has melted. The boiler has been fixed, however a new Worcester 87154014500 Front Shell is over £200. I can't find the foam as a separate part.

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the foam?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Vaillant ones aren’t, so I’d say the same for Worcester. Providing the casing can make a seal and relevant safety checks are carried out, it’s only advisable.

OH dear, that has to go off right away, the elecrode plate was upgraded to one without a sight glass many years ago and your hasnt been replaced, that is why everything is melting, that coupled with the insulation melting, makes your boiler unsafe , do not use it till sorted,prducts of combustion are entering the room Worcester bosch fixed price repair is your best bet
