I've decided to take out my Vaillant ecotec 418 on a conventional system and change it for a combi with a pretty good hot water flow rate. I am considering the Vaillant 831He because it has a HW flow rate of 12.4 L/m. I'm not sure if that's good but it's 25% better than the lower rated models. But, it's pretty expensive at around £1150.00 so i was wondering if some of you guys could recommend an alternative condensing combi with the same good reputation and a good flow rate please. Or is this the best one i will find and, i'll get what i pay for. Any advice, suggestions please? :)

Have you measured the incoming cold water flow rate? (hint: bucket and watch)

you can get an ideal logic+ 35kw with a flow rate of 15lpm for a couple of hundred less than that and comes with a 7 year warranty or an intergas 36/30 with 15lpm also with a 5 year warranty if installed by an approved fitter.
Bare in mind flow rates differ through out the year depending on the temperature of the incoming main, and you need to determine the flow rate you have at your property as there is no point putting a boiler with a 12lpm + flow rate if you only have 8lpm at your outlets.
