Hi
I have a Worcester Danesmoor oil boiler, open system.
HW is OK, heats up no problem, cuts off when up to temp.
CH fires, Drayton motorised valve moves over to open, stays on for about 5 minutes then stops, valve remains open. The room stat is calling for heat but boiler just cuts off. Pipes around pump, valve etc are hot but it doesnt seem to be getting to the rads.
I have checked the junction box with a multimeter and the wires are registering 230v, so electrically at least there is a connection, and it should be on but isn't.
any ideas please?
thanks

Poor circulation?

Blockage
Failed pump

Are both possibilities.

What make pump have you got? i,e, Grunfoss, Wilo etc

WLS Gold...to be honest I think it's fubar'd as I turned the front screw and black water came out. I bled it for a while but water was still coming out even after screwing it back up. I have isolated the gates and will replace tomorrow.
any suggestions on make\model?
