We foolishly ran out of oil and now boiler not working.
The ignition is a riello 40.

I have bled the system, so know the oil is getting through.

The indicator light isn't doing anything and it seems nor is the ignitor.

Sould the light be on/ flicker or anything when the hot water boost switch is turned on in the house?

Any help much appreciated.

It should have locked out when you ran out of oil..... does it just keep locking out every time you reset it? If it does, although you've bled the oil line there may be a lack of oil flow due to a blocked filter, either the inline one ( if you have one!) or the pump filter, because the pump may have pulled through the 'dregs' from the bottom of the oil tank. All filters will need to be checked.

And when you have your tank refilled it's always sensible to leave it for an hour or two before turning your boiler on to let any sediment that may have been disturbed settle in the tank.
