We have a Worcester boiler (Greenstar Junior). It's set on eco mode but keeps firing up every now and again. It's cost 75p a day according to the smart meter? Is this a fault??

How do you know it is that costing 75p/day and not the 1 hour you have the heating set to come on ?

It used 58p of gas on my smart meter display, when we left the house at 10.30am and returned at 3pm (I just rounded it up approx for a full day)

Is the clock set to the correct time? Did you take that photo at about 7pm? You posted it at about 3pm.

your boiler has an internal frost protection system, sensed by the primary thermistor, it is possible this is faulty and the boiler thinks it is colder than it actaully is, you would have to be infront of the boiler and watch the display when it fires without being called for, what room thermostat do you have if any ?

No room therm, individual valves on rads
