I'm sure this happened before....

Gloworm 30 cxi boiler showed evidence of leaking occasionally losing pressure from 1.0 bar to 0.6 bar. The diverter and AAV have been replaced by a gas engineer from Valaint Group and the expansion vessel charged.

Within 20 minutes of leaving, the downstairs shower radiator has started leaking from the screw adjustment at the base.

Any idea why?

Thank you!

Total coincidence although if the pressure is now higher that will be contributing.

You MIGHT be able to reduce/stop the drips by jiggling the shaft a few degrees!

It might well stover over a few days!

If not then it will have to be either ignored or replaced.

Thanks! I still think somehow working on the boiler caused this, but hey ho.

Just checked my paperwork and bottom right valve was replaced January 2010; I guess it's the left valve's turn now. As I had to buy a pair of valves back then, I still have a brand new replacement one. Phew.

Cheers.
