Just had a go at that but nothing happened.

Do you possess any test equipment, at all - volt-stick, test meter, even a neon screwdriver?

The supply needs to be checked/tested, you'll need to get someone in who can do that I'm afraid.

Probably going to be a loose connection, blown fuse, or a secondary switch that has inadvertently turned off

Receiver power sometimes taken from boiler terminals.

Usually upstream of any on board fuses though.

Who knows how it's been wired, without eyes on.

If you've no testing equipment or knowledge on how to use it, then you will need a visit.

If they share the same spur and alarm is powered then it'll be the boiler power.

Hoping that your alarm requires a 3amp fuse because if it's 13A, then likely it's not protected the boiler from a spike!

I remain unconvinced, that a PCB failure, would mean mains supply is lost to an external wireless receiver.

The receiver's mains supply, though not essentially, would be simply looped from the boiler.

Unless something is wrong with the wireless receiver and it blew the PCB in the boiler
