I have a combi boiler which I have had trouble for some time. (Its a Worcester 24i 10 year old)
Radiatiors stopped heating up properly and I had 2 power flushes done as I was advised possible blockage (friend done power flush).
I have lived with it for a while until today when the hot water failed.
What got me thinking is that when the boiler didn't provide hot water the radiators all went piping hot like a brand new system.
Now surely if there was a blockage the heating would have stayed the same.
I switched off the boiler for 20 mins then back on and the hot water started to work again. Only the heating went back to a warm state.

Can anyone advise me further as all i get told by these companies is that there is a blocakge in the pipe work for the Rads.

If there's a complete blockage in the pipework no amount of powerflushing will clear it, as powerflushing only clears partial blockages, but it sounds to me more like you have a sticking diverter valve

Forget Powerflushing you have a diverter valve problem not a big job to sort
