boiler keeps going off on

Can you help
When I run my hot water the boiler keeps going off for a short period then back on so hence the water hot then cold.
It is a combination boiler. Its make is a gem. there is a sticker on it says 1999 I presume this is the year.
Can anybody help.

Don't know these particular boilers, but generally this is a sign that the plate heat exchanger is partially blocked, causing the boiler to overheat, cool down, start again etc.
