My boiler was "kettling" recently so decided to drain system and flush out each radiator indvidually using the garden hose method in case it was a blockage.

I reconnected all rads, filled system & repressurised etc. Now my boiler won't light. I get a noise from pump for 30 secs then it shuts off with warning light! Boiler is an Ariston Microgenus 27 MFFI. Could it be that the pump is blocked or faulty? The system initally worked for about a week (it had been drained for months) but now since flushing rads I get nothing!

Thanks,

Niall

Make sure automatic air valve is open, bleed pump, free pump spindle, make sure pump is actually spinning.
