Hi there...i have a concord wrs boiler i would say its a good few years old now... recently when we put the water or central heating on before the boiler goes to fire up it made like an electrical buzzing noise ( arcing noise ) then it would fire up..lately the noise is happening every time it goes to fire up, until yesterday when it would not go at all...the pilot light is on but it wont fire up.

Has anyone got any advice on what it could be thats gone..

Perhaps the motor is shot. Or sometimes the capacitor that sits on the side of motor. Should be able to buy a capacitor off eBay for not alot of money.

If motor does not turn, system will not purge and this results in no firing up.
